The Eternal Welcome to the website of The Eternal on the Runnyeye server. Could new guild members please go to Forums and read how to become a member of the website. The Eternal is a casual guild made up of players from all over the world who mostly chat in english but occasionally someone will confuse us by chatting in their native language. We someday hope to raid but this again will be friendly and casual. We welcome any new members be they experienced players or brand new to the game.
In the area of class balance, would you guys consider having the first Game Update AFTER an expansion focus on many of the new and un-finished concerns that players have with class balance? Especially those that arise DURING the expansion that were not really as big an issue during beta?
Can we have some heirloom type way to have Lore items be tradable to alts as well as other players? Or even a trade-able Lore-equipped tag like the Heirloom Lore-Equipped tag.
Any thoughts of top-end craftable gear to compete with top-end Legendary or low end Fabled loot? And don't say Mark of Manaar gear, that doesn't count.
Is there a chance the Research Assistant's will lose the one character at a time restriction? The current implementation runs counter to the trend of making the game more and more accesible to alts and it looks like the world ended as much as it could with the initial introduction of RA's. As now, the restiction unfairly impacts people who have multiple characters on a server and would be best changed to keep with the idea of alt support.
---------------------- Oh and something different, there was another hotfix (seems like theres a hotfix every few days rather then every week lol). Here's the Hotfix Notes.
GENERAL - Most of the guards in Freeport, Qeynos and Kelethin have had their levels reduced to what they had previously. Exceptions to this include palace guards and patrolling knights.
ITEMS - All jewelry from the Vigilant: Final Destruction (x2) has had resists added. - Summoning the mount from the Ykeshan Warbear whistle will now work if you are level 80 in either adventuring or tradeskilling. - The valuable, Onayan staff of the waves, should now be on the Vasty Deep collection tables.
QUESTS - The Footsteps of Dartain: Observation – The projected erudite will no longer disappear during conversation. - In Search of Lucan – Fyr’remd Lorak should no longer disappear during conversation. - “Confronting the Godslayer” requires the raid lichform version of Perah’Celsis in order to update. The prose is now more specific about this. - Delinah now properly updates “The Footsteps of Dartain: Emergence.” - Players who delete or decline the various “Footsteps of Dartain” signature quests can now re-obtain them. - Stage 3 of “Whispers from the Past” now correctly mentions Silent City instead of Living Tombs.
PALACE OF ROEHN THEER - Kendis and Penda United now have lower maximum health. - The 3 sages in challenge mode now synchronize their use of prismatic sphere with their exchange of stones (tank switching).
SUNDERED FRONTIER - Neophyte Sairal in the Hall of Necromancy seeks adventurers 80 and higher for a special task.
VASTY DEEP: THE ABANDONED LABS - Adds on the Kadara’Mola fight in Vasty Deep: The Abandoned Labs should now de-spawn should she reset or the encounter breaks. As you might have noticed one of them is about adding resist to high lvl jewelry. One of the issues noted with the expansion is that compared to lvl 70-80 gear there is almost no resist on them dropping your resist bigtime making it very painfull to go against spellcasters. Well they are busy fixing those, mostly by adding resist to some high end gear, but also introducing yellow adornments (between white (on all items) and red (high end raid gear)). However we're still gonna have to wait for those (you can already check out those yellow adornments in paineel btw. For those who want to know more about the changes coming: Itemization in SF Resists onto raid gear
